My Story

I grew up off the grid in Hawai‘i, playing on the side of an active volcano. Jagged lava fields for a backyard. Home schooled with nature and adventure as teachers. I didn’t fit neatly into systems, too curious maybe. Creative, athletic, sensitive, restless. I learned differently, and stood out, sometimes painfully. Soccer and surfing were my things, and they took me places, opened doors, gave me wings.
Since then, I’ve rode many waves and played many games. Taken trains around India solo, studied breathwork in Mysore, worked in film production in Sydney, rebuilt after divorce, travelled with a caravan and a baby, and kept choosing adventure even when life felt uncertain.
Curious by nature. A wanderer. A question-asker. That’s where One Brave Question was born. Curiosity has always been my compass. Play my map.
For a long time, I was also very good at being the capable one. Taking it on. Doing it well. Seeing what needed doing and stepping up. Strength came naturally. So did drive.
What I’ve learned, through lived experience and formal training in women-centered coaching, somatics, storytelling and yoga, is that power isn’t pushing harder. Power is embodied. It’s breath steadying. It’s pressure dropping. It’s clarity rising. It’s laughter. It’s focus. It’s going for it- as yourself.
Play became my bridge. Not play as escape, but play as participation. Movement. Risk. Imagination. Fun that sharpens you. The kind of fun that brings your creativity back online and reminds you who you are.
That’s why I created PlayLab. A creative and decision space for capable, ambitious women who are ready to move forward with clarity and aliveness. Structured spaciousness. Clean next moves. Real momentum.
To fully live is to follow your curiosity. To show up. To go all in.
Because a woman in her play is a woman in her power.

My approach is holistic and playful, blending wellness, creativity, and women-centered coaching to help women reconnect with their power and joy. I’m certified by Wellcoaches Australia and trained in the Foundations of Woman-Centered Coaching, as well as the Women’s Empowerment Method by Dr. Claire Zammit. I also hold certifications in NLP, Time Line Therapy, Yoga, Breathwork, and Plant-Based Nutrition.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media and professional experience as a filmmaker and storyteller, I understand the power of narratives in shaping our lives. I’ve partnered with global brands like Toyota, Land Rover, and Wanderlust AUS/NZ, but my passion lies in helping women rewrite the stories that no longer serve them.
As a surfer and adventurer, I know that play is a vital part of transformation. Through my work, I guide women to embrace freedom, fun, and alignment while creating the lives they truly deserve.
My Approach
Empowering Women, Giving Back
At Her Brave Story, we believe in women rising together. A portion of our profits proudly supports WORTH (The Women’s Outreach Trauma Health service) (worth.org.au), an incredible grassroots initiative providing trauma-informed care for women and children in the Northern Rivers community. WORTH’s work includes counseling, therapeutic group support, and specialized care to help women rebuild their lives after adversity.
I believe in the power of grassroots movements—acting locally while thinking globally. Change starts in our communities, and together we can create a ripple effect that impacts the world.
